Hello Everyone!
For those of you who may not know: I'm back in China, again. Not a very long stay, just one month, but it's actually much more difficult to make a shorter trip worthwhile, and when I first arrived it took a while to get a bearing. I tried writing about a number of topics, most of which didn't get very far, then I realized what I like writing about most: my experiences. Of course, it's always more interesting to read about, and write, unusual experiences, and as soon as I saw how (local) people reacted to my proposal to spend time farming in the countryside, I new I had a good experience at hand. And that's exactly what i did. Farmed.
Below is a partial, somewhat edited version of my journal so that you, too, may experience (second hand) what it's like to be a farmer in these parts.
After I return to the U.S. in less than two weeks, I'll be posting pictures on my web site, www.entim.net. I'll be sure to notify everyone when that section of my site is ready.
Comments are welcome at this address! Thanks for reading!
